Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his character on the show on television 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. At the age of 18, he began to take an interest in acting. At the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. He has been in films and television, but the small screen characters that brought him fame and an extensive following. The ability of his characters to appear from both sides of the law has captured the attention of viewers. He played the part of a serial killer in the first TV series he appeared in however he later chose to play the role of an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he has received multiple nominations for prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. The piercingly blue eyes of his eyes are thought to be his most attractive feature. These have been used for portraying rough characters, as well as give them a sense of humour. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
