Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in the world of television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas where she pursued a physical therapy career within the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before moving to Orlando, Florida. In Orlando, she played many roles, ranging including local independent films and world-wide commercials. Despite her small roles, she discovered her passion for acting. After that, she relocated in New York in 2001 and landed her very first acting job on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. Through the early part of 2000, she acted small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was cast in her first series part in The Mountain which was the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared 85 times. Her character was later seen on the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress-TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor in CSI Miami. She played Marisol Delko and wife to the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. Most recent TV appearance was on Doctor. Lena Solis on NBC's somewhat more dark-hearted drama Do No Harm. The show was ended after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister Cory was born 10 years older than her. Milano was raised in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano started her acting profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter accompanied her to a stage audition. With more than 1000 applicants they were selected to be one of only four. Milano was featured in TV commercials and on off-Broadway plays, among them the first American musical rendition to Jane Eyre.
